CAC Approves Football and Boys Lacrosse
as Semi-Independent Sports
The CAC Board of Directors approved requests from the Boys Lacrosse and Football programs to become semi-independent sports. The new designation will allow these sports to create sport-specific rules (as opposed to one-size fits all [sports] rules) that will allow them to grow and prosper. Moreover, it will allow them to create leadership boards which will ensure the appropriate decisions are made for the benefit of the kids.
