The Crofton Athletic Council is proud to announce that our Cross Country Camp is back for 2025!

Runners entering Grades 3-5 will practice 8:00-9:00 AM.
Runners entering Grades 6-9 will practice 8:00-10:00 AM.
High School runners Grades 10-12 will also practice 7:45 AM to 10:00 AM

Camp will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings beginning June 23rd and ending August 8th.

The camp will be conducted primarily at Crofton High School meeting near the tennis courts and on some days we may use alternate sites such as Bell Branch Athletic Complex, the MACC Facilities, and others.

This camp will introduce the younger athletes to the sport of Cross Country and prepare them for the rigors of a high school program. We welcome athletes destined for any of the local high schools including Bowie, Arundel, South River, Crofton, and any other public or private high school destinations.

Returning High School runners will run a spirited summer training program and should expect a lot of miles and occasional medium to high intensity workouts to prepare for your competitive season in the Fall. 

Our Coaching Staff will consist of Head Coaches Adam McGuire and Mike MacMillan as well as College and High School runners and coaches. These coaches represent speed at several levels including elite county, state, and collegiate athletes. If your child is considering a running career in high school this camp will begin their preparation!

Please know this is a Cross Country running camp so athletes should expect to come ready for spirited workouts and tired legs. The Middle School runners particularly should expect to be challenged while still having fun and embracing the joy (and honestly the bit of pain) of running on rough terrain!

The camp has a limited number of spaces to provide the best instruction to each runner. The cost will be $215 ($120 for CAC Family Members) per runner for Elementary and Middle School and $125 ($30 for CAC Family Members) per runner for High School athletes. Please understand the Retuning High School cost is much lower as these experienced athletes require significantly less coaches per athlete than the younger runners.
